We are conveniently located in the Palomino Park complex on Hwy 441, between Lake Worth Road and Forest Hill Boulevard.
Our regular office hours are Monday – Thursday, 9 am – 5 pm.
Friday, 9 am – 1 pm.
In the event of a life-threatening medical emergency, call emergency medical services at 911 immediately. DO NOT WAIT! Inform the emergency room staff that you are a patient of Advanced Medical and they will contact us.
If you have an urgent medical concern and need to talk to Dr. Ishan Gunawardene after our regular hours, please call our office at (561) 434-1935. A doctor is on-call 24 hours a day. Your call will be returned promptly.
At Advanced Medical Clinic we accept:

Please contact your insurance company or you may call our office at (561) 434-1935 to find out if we accept your insurance plan.
If your insurance plan requires you to pay a co-payment, co-insurance, and/or a deductible, you will need to pay at the time of your visit. For your convenience we accept cash, checks, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and CareCredit.

If one of our providers suggests a specialist evaluation or diagnostic testing that requires a referral, we will make every effort to provide this for you as soon as possible. Some referrals require insurance preauthorization and cannot be processed immediately. Insurance guidelines prohibit us from backdating referrals. We require three business days for the processing of routine referrals.

Prescriptions and refills for established patients of Advanced Medical are routinely issued during our regular office hours (see above). You can make your request by calling our office at (561) 434-1935.
No refills are issued during the evenings, weekends, or holidays, as the providers do not have access to your medical records during those times. It is helpful to anticipate your refill needs to avoid an interruption in your medication therapy.
