Shariffa Gunawardene, DNP, APRN is a board-certified family nurse practitioner and doctor of nursing practice who provides compassionate, evidence-based care for patients at every age and stage of life. Trained at the University of Arkansas and Florida Atlantic University, she combines advanced clinical knowledge with a calm, friendly presence that puts even anxious patients at ease.

Shariffa spends unhurried time listening, explaining conditions in clear terms, and tailoring plans that fit your daily routines, from diabetes and hypertension support to women's health, physicals, and urgent visits.

As active clinical faculty for PA and NP students, she helps shape tomorrow's providers while keeping today's care aligned with current guidelines.

Fully bilingual, she speaks comfortably with English and Spanish speaking families, which improves understanding, medication safety, and follow-through.
